Description: In this class our goals are:
1. Pronounce, spell, and translate approximately 200 Spanish words.
2. Learn 20 Spanish sayings, the Lord’s Prayer, and one hymn.
3. Grammar~
a. Define noun, verb, adjective, direct and indirect objects.
b. Understand concepts of tense, number, gender, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd person.
c. Conjugate in the present, imperfect, and future tenses.
d. Make adjectives and nouns agree in number and gender.
4. Practice reading understanding and fluency.
We will be using a workbook together and I will also be providing my own material to expand focused practice.
Please note: This class will also meet online on Mondays and Thursdays for 15 minutes to help reinforce what is being taught in-person in class. The time is to be determined...it will likely be 11:00am or 1:00pm.

Description: This class will start off with a fun introduction to the Greek alphabet, using Greek Alphabet Code Cracker. In Greek Alphabet Code Cracker, understanding the Greek alphabet is the key to decoding clues and recovering the stolen Urn of Achilles! Students will learn all of the Greek letters, from Alpha to Omega, along with their phonetic pronunciations. Students will practice writing the letters and, in the process, they will gather clues from witnesses and trace the path of the thief! This workbook text is an excellent introduction to Greek for students of all ages.
After completing the Greek Alphabet Code Cracker book, we will dive into learning the basics of Biblical Greek. Students can grasp the Bible’s message more clearly with Master Books’ Intro to Biblical Greek. Learning the original language of our New Testament Scriptures is an excellent way to honor God, know the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and better comprehend the infallible Word. Along the way, students will study:
*If time allows, we may also dig into some of WordUp!: The Vocab Show. WordUp! is a homeschool family favorite vocabulary curriculum that expands your student’s vocabulary in a whole new way! Dwane Thomas of Visual Latin stars in this entertaining game show which uses the study of Latin and Greek roots to help grasp vocabulary used in literature, science, and standardized tests. It’s a zany game-show style course sure to make your students laugh.
