Description: This year we will be learning all about Earth Science! We will be exploring God’s incredible creation as we learn about topics like space, plate tectonics and volcanoes, weather, the water cycle, biomes, mapping, and so much more. Our class time will be hands-on and full of experiments, demonstrations, and activities to keep students engaged. Students will have weekly reading assignments to complete at home, and the experiments will be completed in class--no gathering supplies or messy experiments at home! The text we are using, Apologia's Exploring Creation with Earth Science, does a wonderful job of taking key topics and making them understandable for all ages, regardless of a student's previous science experience. This class will be geared toward upper elementary through middle school age.

Description: Rainbow Science is a two year curriculum that covers chemistry, physics, biology, and applied science (earth science). This year our focus will be on year one of the text--physics and chemistry. During class, we will discuss important topics from our reading, as well as complete lots of hands-on experiments and activities. Students will have weekly reading assignments to finish at home, and all experiments will be completed together in class. This is an excellent class to introduce or review important science topics before heading into more challenging high school science courses.

Description:
“The term “forensic science” refers to the acquisition of knowledge gained from the evidence, analysis, and investigator interpretations with the goal of presenting this knowledge before individuals in the judicial system. While television, movies, and podcasts have popularized forensic science, much of what is portrayed in the media is not accurate. Intro to Forensic Science from a Biblical Worldview homeschool curriculum was developed to teach your students how to use keen observational techniques, understand the disciplines that make up forensic science, and know how to apply them to seeking first the Kingdom of God.
In every lesson, applicable Scripture is woven throughout the text, along with practical labs, and review materials. Case studies are included to raise the student’s awareness of some of the most famous crimes in history, both solved and unsolved, while examining real investigative practices, time frames, and judicial results. Because of the sensitive nature of the case studies, this course is recommended to 11th and 12th grade students.”
