Description: This course is an in-person compliment to your Teaching Textbooks curriculum and an excellent way to motivate your student to keep up with their coursework.
In the classroom, we will review and re-work difficult problems from the previous week’s homework, as well as present new concepts and practice upcoming assignments.
Concepts to be introduced include: math operations, base ten/place value, decimals, fractions and percents, algebraic thinking, measurement, word problems, data and more.
Because the concepts are introduced and repeated in each grade level with increasing complexity, this class will function as a multi-grade level course.
Required Textbook: Teaching Textbooks Grade 4, 5, or 6

Description: Developed for upper elementary and middle school students struggling with math skills, this class is supplementary to your chosen math curriculum and requires no additional homework.
We will utilize hands-on activities, games and memorization exercises to master concepts of multiplication, division, decimals, fractions and percents, word problems and more. Construction labs, explorations and in-class drill pages and practice problems will be loosely based off Saxon Math.
Prerequisite: Grade 3 Math
